So… a few of you out there have picked up on the fact that there’s a hidden puzzle game in my new book, Free Your Mind. If that’s you, first of all, congratulations, because most people so far have completely missed that.

I don’t want to give away too much, and ruin all the fun, but here’s a few answers to some frequently asked questions:

• Is there really a game? Yes, it’s not just part of the narrative, or background color.
• Is it solvable? I think so. I’ll say this. Not all solutions will be identical, but I have set ways of judging a solution, and whether it is complete enough to count or not. And while not everything is spelled out, and it will take some creativity and some leaps of logic, I do think there are enough clues to actually solve it.
• Is it hard? I think so. If someone solves it within the first year, I’ll be very surprised.
• Is there a prize? Possibly? Yet to be determined? I’ll say this, it may be worthwhile to be the first person to supply a complete answer. However there may also be compensations for late-solvers. No promises.
• Are all the clues in the book? All the clues are in the book, but you might need to refer to some of the books and other media listed in the endnotes to find the solutions. It also won’t hurt to read this blog, although that’s not strictly necessary. HOWEVER, none of the people or places listed are clues. Please DO NOT STALK anyone. That is not a part of the game, and will be grounds for immediate disqualification.
• Has anyone solved it yet? No. I’ll update here if someone does.
• Is anyone on the right track? Yes, some of you are on the right track.
• Will there be hints? Maybe, if it seems like people have been too stuck for too long. If there are hints, they will be posted here.
