By the way, dear readers: I rarely use this blog as a platform for my own personal politics, but if you are an American voter I would like to remind you that it is crucially important to our democracy that Trump neither win nor advance further in the electoral process. The progress of someone so nakedly willing to pander to the lowest common denominator is frightening, and should not be dismissed as an empty spectacle. His Ku Klux Klan endorsement alone should be enough to permanently disqualify him from the consideration of any responsible voter. I urge you to oppose his candidacy by all legitimate means.
